ਪਉੜੀ॥Pauree:

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਲਾਹੀਐ ਸਚੁ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਵੈ॥

Praise the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, and practice truthful deeds.

ਦੂਜੀ ਕਾਰੈ ਲਗਿਆ ਫਿਰਿ ਜੋਨੀ ਪਾਵੈ॥

Doing deeds in duality, one keeps coming back.

ਨਾਮਿ ਰਤਿਆ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਨਾਮੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ॥

Attuned to the Name, one obtains the Name, and through the Name, sings the Lord’s Praises.

ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਸਲਾਹੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ॥

Praising the Word of the Guru, he merges in the Lord’s Name.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਸਫਲ ਹੈ ਸੇਵਿਐ ਫਲ ਪਾਵੈ॥੧੯॥

Service to the Satguru is successful; serving Him, the fruits are obtained. ||19||

ਪਉੜੀ ॥ Pauri.

ਸਚੁ ਸਚੇ ਕੀ ਸਿਫਤਿ ਸਲਾਹ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਕਰੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਅੰਦਰੁ ਭਿਜੈ ॥

True is the glory and praise of the True One, does whose mind is imbued. 

ਜਿਨੀ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਇਕੁ ਅਰਾਧਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਕੰਧੁ ਨ ਕਬਹੂ ਛਿਜੈ ॥

They, who single mindedly remembers the One, their bodies never perish.

ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਪੁਰਖ ਸਾਬਾਸਿ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ ਸਚੁ ਰਸਨਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪਿਜੈ ॥

Blessed blessed and praiseworthy is the person who with his tongue tastes the True Name Nectar.

ਸਚੁ ਸਚਾ ਜਿਨ ਮਨਿ ਭਾਵਦਾ ਸੇ ਮਨਿ ਸਚੀ ਦਰਗਹ ਲਿਜੈ ॥

The man to whose mind the Truest of the true is pleasing becomes acceptable in the True court.

ਧਨੁ ਧੰਨੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਸਚਿਆਰੀਆ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲ ਸਚੁ ਕਰਿਜੈ ॥੨੦॥

Hail hail unto the birth of the true persons, whose faces the True Lord renders bright.
